What is the purpose of law?

The four main ones are establishing rules, maintaining order, resolving disputes, and protecting freedoms and rights. Accountability The government and private actors are accountable to the law. The rule of law is a set of principles, or ideals, to ensure an orderly and just society. Many countries around the world strive to defend the rule of law when no one is above the law, everyone is treated equally before the law, everyone is accountable to the same laws, there are clear and fair processes for enforcing laws, there is an independent judiciary and human rights are guaranteed for all.

In addition to having a direct impact on the economy, the purpose of laws has an immense social impact, since they serve as negotiators between people. As a friend of mine once remarked, this negative concept of law is so true that the statement that the purpose of the law is to bring about justice is not a strictly accurate statement.
